Passed away peacefully with family present on Wednesday June 10, 2026 in Cambridge at the age of 85 years.  Beloved husband of Sharon Awde, and the late Brenda (Ellis) Awde (1978).  Loving father of Greg (Jeannie), Kevin (Elizabeth), Kimberly, Jamie (Jen), and Candice (Jamie).  Dear grandfather to Justin, Matthew, Devon, Marie, Laura, Charlie, Lucy, Dillon, Jack, Joe, Zak, and Zoe.  Great grandfather to Sullivan, Thorin, Meadow, Emily, and Sophia.  Son of the late Sherman & Viola Awde.

The family will honour his life with visiting at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Sunday from 6-8 pm where funeral service will be held on Monday June 15, 2026 at 1pm.  Interment Hagersville Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundationwww.rhbanderson.com

I will always remember our fun times together, coffee and muffin breaks and occasional outings for dinners and shows.
