Suzanne "Sue" Montour

 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Suzanne “Sue” Montour . In her 63rd year surrounded by love, she passed peacefully  on June 13, 2024. Sue leaves behind her beloved husband of 27 years, Troy Montour, alongside her cherished daughter, Sarah Faith. Sue will always be treasured and loved by her sisters Deb (Scott) and Kathy (the late Dennis). Along with her brother and sister in laws, Curt (Jen), Bill (Trudy), and predeceased by Patrick “Paddy”. Sue will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all of her nieces and nephews. Sue is predeceased by her mother Dita Arbes and her father, whom served as a private in the US Army during WW2, Spero Arbes. Sue was an amazing woman who could light up a room with her sweet smile and contagious laugh. She loved deeply and was always there for anyone in need. Sue was known best of her love of horses. Her love for horses knew no bounds. She found so  much peace and joy in the presence of any horse. Whether riding through the fields or caring for her beloved companions, Sue had a deep connection with horses that  defined a significant part of her life. Her passion for horses will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. Former member of the Bill Robinsons Stables and Joe Hollaway Stables in  New Jersey. Resting at Styres Funeral Home , 1798 Fourth Line Rd.,  Ohsweken after 5 pm on Sunday June 16. Funeral Service in the chapel on Monday at 3 p.m. Cremation. www.rhbandersonfuneralhome.com
