Gerald Peter Garlow

December 4, 1947 - May 1, 2024



At St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton on Wednesday May 1, 2024 at the age of 76 years.  Survived by son Kevin (Lori); grandchildren Chantel, Darcy, Ashley, and Isaiah; great grandchildren Oliver, Freya, and Aspen; brothers Andy, and Barry; special friend Brock; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was proud to have served his community through his many years of coaching hockey, working at the Birthing Centre as maintenance staff, and volunteering at many community events.

The family will honour his life with visitation at Styres Funeral Home, 1798 4th Line, Ohsweken on Sunday May 5, 2024 from 4-8 pm. where funeral service will be held on Monday May 6, 2024 at 2 pm.  Interment Six Nations Pentecostal Cemetery.  www.rhbanderson.com

Sorry to hear of Pete's passing. He always had a friendly smile and a kind attitude when I was involved in refereeing minor hockey. A real loss to the Six nations Community. He was great guy. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest Easy Pete!

Our sincere condolences to Pete’s son, grandchildren and brothers. We’d have lots of laughs and great discussions when he’d stop in to visit with Mom. I loved Pete like a big brother. I bought my first Rez car from him. I’ll miss our visits. Rest easy now Pete. These last 8 years have been so hard on you. Hugs an thank you to Brick for caring for Pete❤️‍????

He was a very caring person to all
that knew him. He appeared to enjoy his
Job at the Birthing Centre so much and did his
best to help where needed.
I had a chat with him just recently
and he seemed to be doing ok so
to hear of his passing came as a shock to me.

I just saw Peter and he had the biggest smile on his face. I am so glad I got to see him again before he started his journey. Rest in Peace my friend.
